Import projects from old Carbonmade into new Carbonmade 4

Coming from the old Carbonmade the best way to get started is to import your existing projects into the new Carbonmade 4. While we personally recommend starting from scratch to really appreciate all the possibilities of the new Carbonmade 4, it will definitely save you some time if you import your existing project.

How to import your existing projects

Step 1: Make sure you have a new Carbonmade 4 account, you can sign up here for one. Make sure to use the same email address as you've used with your old/current Carbonmade account.

Step 2: Once you're logged into Carbonmade 4, click on the PROJECTS icon on the left in the sidebar.

Step 3: At the top, you should see a banner asking you to import your projects. Just click import, and things will happen like magic. 

Step 4: If you DON'T see the banner, you can also click THIS LINK to manually import your projects. Just make sure you're also logged into your old Carbonmade account, and it only works if there have been NO projects created in Carbonmade 4 yet.

What do we import?

To keep things simple, we do our best to import your projects and help you save time. When clicking the import button, here is what we do:

1. We will import all your projects, that includes project titles and thumbnails, so you don't have to create them all again.

2. Inside each project, we import all images, videos, audio etc. and also convert your headlines, descriptions and captions into the new Carbonmade 4 text blocks so you can easily edit them, change fonts, colors, spacings and whatever you like to do.
